چکیده
Objective: Ticks are obligate blood-sucking vectors for multiple zoonotic diseases. In this study, tick samples were collected from Yunnan Province, China, which is well-known as the “Global Biodiversity Hotspot” in world. This study aimed to clarify microbial populations, including pathogens, associated with ticks and identify diversity of tick-borne microbiota region. Methods: The 16S rRNA full-length sequencing pooled DNA PCR amplification pathogenic genera individual performed understand tick-associated Results: A total 191 adult 5 species included revealed 11 phyla 126 bacteria, Anaplasma , Ehrlichia Candidatus Neoehrlichia, Rickettsia Borrelia Babesia . Further identification suggested that sp. YN01 was a variant strain spp. IG-1, but YN02 YN03, potentially two new SFGR species. Conclusions: complexity ecological interactions between host microbe provided insight biological control ticks. high identified, more investigation should be undertaken elucidate pathogenicity area.

This study compares the prevalence of ixodid tick species on cattle and goats in Maputo Province. Adult ticks as well as the nymphs of three species, and only the adults of two species were collected from sets of five cattle at 21 localities throughout the province and compared with those collected from similar sets of goats at the same places. Amblyomma hebraeum adults and/or nymphs were prese...
متن کاملDescription of a new species of bat-associated argasid tick (Acari: Argasidae) from Brazil.
A new species of argasid tick (Acari: Argasidae) is described from immature and adult specimens collected from several localities in Brazil. A complete morphological account is provided for all postembryonic life stages, i.e., larva, nymph, female, and male. Ornithodoros cavernicolous n. sp. is the 113(th) in the genus. Morphologically, the new species shares common features, e.g., presence of ...
